Ian Bussey
Director - Corporate Finance
Ian founded New Contacts in 2007. Ian is a lawyer with almost 20 years of comprehensive Corporate Finance experience at Board level within the Technology and Healthcare sectors as General Manager, Business Development Director and General Legal Counsel.
Prior to founding New Contacts, Ian worked in-house for a number of companies to deliver growth through acquisition and consolidation. Ian was part of the management team of UK medical device manufacturer Aspect Vision Care which was acquired by CooperVision. He then took the role of GM and delivered US healthcare company CooperVision's International growth strategy which included a buy and build strategy across Europe. He also implemented and executed Mistral Internet's inorganic growth strategy by acquiring 9 companies for Mistral before selling Mistral to Kingston Communications. Ian has also jointly worked with the Nortons Group as a Managing Director in their Corporate Finance Practice since 2008.
He is an expert in the Technology and Lifesciences sectors and is a visionary strategist who has assisted many companies in identifying and acquiring strategic targets across Europe.
Ian has a Bachelor Degree in Jurisprudence (Hons) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia where he was a Fairbridge Scholar.

Tara Barry
Director - Human Resources
Tara joined New Contacts in 2013. Tara is a global Human Resources Professional with almost 20 years of experience in Media & Technology, Financial Services and Consulting industries. Tara has worked at the Director level with Hewlett Packard, Zurich Insurance Company, Bertelsmann and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.
Tara has lived and worked in 5 countries in Europe and North America and has direct operational experience in over 40 countries around the globe. Tara has extensive experience implementing Shared Services models and building Talent Acquisition functions from the ground up in addition to broad generalist experience. She has experience in opening branch offices (North America, Europe and Africa) and has led the build up of 6 near-shore centres in Eastern Europe. Tara's depth of experience is particularly highlighted in the area of executive assessment and development. Having conducted over 2000 interviews in her career, her instincts and understanding of a leader's potential are highly valued in the management assessment space.
Tara has a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial/Organisational Psychology with a minor in Speech Communications from the University of Waterloo (Canada) and holds the designation of MCIPD from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
